Pretty much any korean movie or an anime and I'm happy I love all the Studio Ghibli films(but especially My Neighbour Totoro) and as for the korean films, ones like Oldboy/sympathy for lady vengeance etc.

They are my fav's but I'll watch pretty much anything.

im starting to get into anime and asian movies as well
watched a few things like death note and full metal alchemist etc.

seen old boy ion film 4 a while back and enjoyed it

Oh god deathnote is terrible...well compared to the manga. As a film in its own right its ok I guess, but after you have read the manga, the film is just disappointing Though I guess its the same if you read a book before the film, its never going to be the same.

its hard trying to find 1 that you like i mean i watched deathnote as it was popular and i thought it was ok but not brilliant.

i need anime with good fight scenes and a lil bit of violence

Oh god what was that one I watched...erm...ok can't remember the name, hopefully will in a minute, but if I remember right it was pretty violent lol I could be getting muddled in my brain though lol. Gah what was the damn name????!

Well the studio ghibli films will be of no use as they are more geared towards kids/girls or people like me who still have the mind of a child lol. Haibane, Twelve kingdoms and fruits basket are all good. Actually I tell a lie, one of the ghibli films, Nausicaa isn't too girly, has awesome giant bugs in it too Korean film wise, anything by park chan-wook is brilliant.
