Ok,

Just to double check here, but my yellow/orange female was making chirpy noises when I was holding her tonight(like the noise baby birds make), is this normal for her to make this noise? I've just never heard any of my guys make any noises before so want to make sure this is normal chirping crestie? Icon_redface Am a bit paranoid it may be an RI or something...but kind of hoping its just normal crestie noises lol!

Its a normal noise, although mine are usually quiet when being held. It could be she wasn't happy about it, or because its breeding season she may have thought you were a male chirping crestie? Icon_wink

Ahh thats a relief! All of mine are kept in the bedroom as its the quitest and coolest room and I spend most of my evenings working in the living room and am a really heavy sleeper so don't really hear mine make any noises lol. She's not long arrived, well just finished her 2 week settling in period and I've begun short handling sessions with her, so thats probably why she wasn't too happy bless her.
