If they are buckskins like Spice - £45 if they are red £55. This will depend on age too, if I had to hold them for a few months (if they didnt sell as hatchlings) and/or they were sexable then I would charge more

I totally agree, but unfortunately people dont see this, they just want the 'prettier' morphs

Personally I completely agree with you guys, as much as I like all the different morphs, I'd rather buy a cleaner bloodline than buy a crestie just because it was fancier/prettier than another. Though thats probably because I'm constantly exposed to the consequences of breeding animals that are too closely related in both my course and placements first hand. I think that if someone is going to breed ANY animal, regardless of species, they should try their hardest to breed as distant bloodlines as they can, and breed for traits like health and temperment, I can't stand irresponsible breeders who breed purely for either money or so called "desirable" traits like appearance alone. Gah, they just make me so angry, I'm going to shush now before I go on a massive rant

No matter what morph it was, if I had the chance to buy for example an F2, I take it with both hands! Hell, I'd give an arm and a leg to get that kind of bloodline into my guys. Just wish everyone else could see the true value of something like an F2 animal. Sad

Basically, if you have two animals, or well two anything, breed them together and their offspring are the F1's or First generations. Breed two F1's together and you get the F2 or second generation. That's the molecular genetic definition as I've learned it at uni anyway. In the crestie context I'm assuming the offspring of two wild caught geckos will be F1's and then the offspring of the F1's would be the F2's being mentioned. So basically two generations from wild caught if I'm correct...

Yeah I did it at A-level, was a tad disappointed at coming to uni and spending the entire first year pretty much just re-doing it though. I remember they always used to use that example about mendel and his peas or whatever plant it was he was using. Much more interesting when animals are involved imo lol
